Prepare to access the user panel

Create an account and save your login details

After opening the account creation page, choose a username that is easy to recognize but not reused for other important services. Set and confirm your password, then submit the form. icuVPN does not require an email address; your username and password are the credentials for accessing the user panel, viewing plans, and getting a subscription. After submission, the page may open the panel or ask you to sign in again. Continue with the details you just created.

After creating the account, check that the expected username appears at the top of the panel or in the account section. If your browser autofills information saved for another site, clear it and enter the details again to avoid leaving incorrect credentials on the page. Save your password securely. You will still need these details to access the account from another browser or device.

You do not need to configure a client or find subscription details at this stage. The account is simply the management entry point for later orders and subscriptions. Once you have confirmed that the panel opens normally, go to the plans section rather than creating another account before verifying your login.

Next action After creating your account, continue to the plans page.

Confirm usage and payment method

Choose a plan and place your order

In the plans section of the user panel, first distinguish monthly subscriptions from data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. If your usage is consistent, choose the tier that matches your expected needs. When upgrading mid-term, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days, so there is no need to choose a plan far above your actual usage just to leave extra room.

Data packages suit usage that varies over time or needs to be based on actual consumption. Available options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Data remains available until used and never expires. Before choosing, decide whether you value steady usage within a fixed cycle or a total allowance kept for the long term. If you are unsure, read the full comparison on the plans page before returning to the user panel to place your order.

After confirming your choice, check that the plan name, data allowance, and amount in the order match your selection. Then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Do not repeatedly go back and submit the same order during payment. After paying, return to the user panel and wait for the order status to update. Once the plan is active, the account overview will show subscription details; only then should you copy the subscription and import it into a client.

All plans support unlimited devices online at once and include a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. Unlimited devices does not mean you need a separate order for each one. The subscription from the same account can be imported on any supported platform as needed. Devices share the available data in the current plan, so monitor total usage in the panel rather than checking only one device.

Copy the subscription from the user panel

Once the plan is active, open the account overview and find the subscription section. It shows the current plan status, data information, and the subscription option used by clients. Click the panel’s copy button to place the complete content on the clipboard. Subscription content is usually long, and selecting it manually can omit characters at the beginning, end, or middle, so use the built-in copy action whenever possible.

A subscription lets the client retrieve the routes available to your account; it is not an ordinary web address. After copying it, do not paste it into chats, public documents, or untrusted webpages, and do not delete parameters yourself. If a client import fails, return to the user panel and copy it again instead of guessing which characters are missing. The address below is a format example only; it will not connect to icuVPN and cannot be used for an actual import.

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

If the subscription option is not yet visible in the panel, check that the order is complete and the plan is active, then refresh the account overview. If it still has not updated, keep the order details and submit a support ticket through the user panel instead of creating repeated new orders. After copying the subscription, stay signed in to the account, then open the icuVPN client on the device you want to use and import it.

Configure each device

Import the subscription into the client

Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS use different layouts, but the logic is the same: get the icuVPN client for your platform, open subscription or configuration management, paste the content copied from the user panel, save it, and update. After the client parses the subscription, the route list appears on the main screen or route selection page.

Client access is provided through the user panel. After signing in, open the downloads section. This site does not publish static installer URLs on marketing pages, and downloading identically named files from unknown sources is not recommended. After installation, follow the instructions for your system below. For Linux configuration, routing rules, or more detailed permissions, see the complete beginner-to-advanced manual.

DESKTOP

Windows

After installing and opening the desktop client on Windows, allow the network permissions required by the system. Open subscription management, configuration management, or add-configuration in the main interface, choose import via link, and paste the complete subscription copied from the panel. Use “icuVPN” as an identifiable name if desired. Save it, click update or refresh, and wait for the route list to load.

Return to the client’s main interface and confirm that the active configuration has switched to the subscription you just imported. If the list is still empty, check for spaces before or after the content, then copy the subscription again and replace the original. If the system asks to allow network access, verify that the program name belongs to the client you just installed, then continue as prompted.

DESKTOP

macOS

When opening the client for the first time on macOS, the system may ask you to add a network extension or create a configuration. Complete the authorization in the system dialog, then open the client’s subscription, configuration, or resource management page and choose to add from a link. Paste the subscription copied from the user panel, save it, and update the client so it can load the currently available routes.

If the client imported the subscription successfully but cannot start a connection, open System Settings and check that the relevant network extension is allowed, then return to the client and try again. Do not repeatedly delete other network configurations from the system. For first-time setup, confirm that the extension required by the icuVPN client is authorized and that the imported configuration is active.

MOBILE

Android

After opening the Android client, look for an add option in the home menu, configuration page, or subscription page. Choose import via link, long-press the input field to paste the subscription, confirm that the content is complete, and save it. The client displays route names after updating. Return to the home screen, choose a route, and use the connection switch to continue.

The first time the system establishes a connection, a network authorization window appears. This is a standard step required for the client to create a system connection. After confirming, the status bar or client interface shows the connection state. If the import button does nothing, first confirm that the clipboard still contains the subscription copied from the user panel rather than other text copied later.

MOBILE

iOS

In the iOS client, open the subscription or configuration page, tap Add, choose import via link, and paste the subscription from the user panel. Save and update it, then choose the target region from the client’s route list. On the first connection, the system asks to allow a network configuration to be added. Confirm as prompted, then return to the client.

If system authorization is complete but the client still shows disconnected, check that the selected configuration is the subscription you just imported and update the route list again. Do not enter server addresses or account parameters manually in system settings. The required information is already included in the subscription generated by the panel, and splitting it up manually can leave the configuration incomplete.

Connect to a route and check the exit region

After importing and updating the subscription, choose a route from the client’s list that matches the target service’s region. For region-specific content, select the corresponding country or region rather than relying only on the route name. Start the connection and wait for the client status to change from disconnected to connected, or an equivalent state, before continuing with verification.

Start by opening an ordinary webpage to confirm that basic network access works. Then check whether the current exit region matches the selected route, and finally open the international website, AI tool, or streaming service you actually need. This order helps distinguish between a connection that has not been established, an unsuitable route region, and a session or regional cache held by the target service.

If ordinary webpages open after connecting but the target service still shows the previous region, fully quit the target app or close the relevant browser tabs and open them again. Browsers and apps may retain an old session, so a simple refresh may not detect the new exit region. You can also try another route in the same region and repeat the check. icuVPN covers 90+ countries and 200+ routes, so prioritize the target region and your current use case instead of switching regions frequently.

If basic network access also stops working after you connect, disconnect the current route, confirm that the original network has recovered, then update the subscription and try another route. Do not run multiple clients that take control of the system network at the same time; the system may not know which configuration to use. If the issue remains after these basic checks, search the help center by symptom for the relevant solution.

Beyond the basic flow

Leave complex issues to the relevant documentation

Once connection verification is complete, first-time setup is finished. For daily use, keep the subscription up to date, choose routes by target region, and reconnect when the network environment changes. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date; data packages remain available until used and never expire. Devices share the available data in the account, so follow the panel’s usage display instead of creating a separate account for each device.

If you cannot import the subscription, cannot access services after connecting, notice speed changes, or see an unusual order status, record the platform, the client’s current message, the selected route, and the step where the issue occurred. Clearly explaining “which step, what you saw, and what you tried” is more useful than simply saying “it doesn’t work.” For common cases, browse the Support Center by account and subscription, connection and troubleshooting, speed and routes, or billing and refunds.

Protocol differences, rule modes, global mode, routing methods, subscription maintenance, and advanced platform settings are outside this lightweight guide. For a systematic overview of the full process, continue with the complete beginner-to-advanced manual. It covers plan selection, client configuration, connection maintenance, and advanced usage, making it suitable after the basic connection is working.
